Christopher Hill, Principal Consultant

Chris Hill has over 20 years of experience working as an economist in several capacities for a number of organizations, including Bombardier Aerospace (Regional Aircraft), International Air Transport Association (IATA), Ontario Hydro, Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, University of Saskatchewan (Economics Department) and Consumers’ Association of Canada.  The range of market research and analysis that he has undertaken spans the public, private and “third” sectors of the global economy.  Chris completed a Master of Arts degree in Economics, with a specialization in public finance and econometrics.

Highlights of his career include: working as a consultant in the aviation industry to produce market studies and forecasts in support of multi-million-dollar investment decisions pertaining to the development of airports; conducting forecasts and market research in support of Bombardier Aerospace’s efforts to determine opportunities for new products, extension of product lines and joint ventures; producing industry SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analyses in support of public policy development in Ontario, Canada; and providing market intelligence and logistics services in support of not-for-profit organizations’ campaigns to raise funds for a range of projects, including social development programs in Africa and Asia.
